From my childhood, I get hiccups quiet often. I drink water and swallow fast. I stop my breath for a second at the time of getting the hiccup. I take sugar. But it will not stop. I suffer for a while then auomatically it stops....

gouthamgotit i do get hiccups often, one best way to stop them is hold on to your breath as long as you can and release your breath, your hiccup will be gone. try this it works.
