Anyone have suggestions for some healthy after school snacks? I have one pretty picky eater and one who will eat a fair mixture of things. They are always hungry in the late-afternoon/after school and go for the same things...

greatlakesgirl We haven't tried the trail mix idea yet. Maybe that one will go over better with my picky eater if she gets to pick what we mix into it.

greatlakesgirl Wow! I'm so sorry to hear they went through that. It is unusual for a child to develop febrile seizures unless the fever goes pretty high. To have four out of your five children go through this must have been so scary.

greatlakesgirl This is what I generally do at home too. I'm not against using medications to help when they are called for but I just dont' want to resort to them for every little thing either.
