greentfv Aircon! I grew up near the equator and fans just don't provide the complete artificial, lovely 'cool' desired. (Also, have lots of experiences getting hair and various other objects stuck in fan as one does so thats put me off loads..)

greentfv Novels- all the way! I love the commitment of reading a novel (sounds strange I know) and I like how the characters develop and grow on you over the course of the novel. Also love complex storylines that are difficult to weave into a short story.
