hayate13 Absolutely yes,usually people who cut the top of rice is the people who has event then it deducted to people nearby or a loved one, like:parents,boy/girlfriend, close friend, etc.

hayate13 Yup,potato cakes is bergedel, i usually say "begedel". And it's very nice when i know there still people who like old tradition in modern times as you.
