Does anyone show their dachshunds or any other dog in the Showrings?

I do mine and really enjoy. I am hoping to find someone else who really enjoys dachshunds and the show ring. It'd be good for tips and advice! What do you think?

heidi14dan I've never heard of Earthdog but it sounds interesting. My doxy loves to dig and we have the holes in our backyard to prove it...lol.

heidi14dan I've never seen a dog show (other than on TV) but I think it would be a great experience. Currently I am just getting through training my doxy puppy and he earned his Canine Good Citizen last month. We are discussing teaching him agility because he seems to be...

heidi14dan We've had two in our family. Our first one died last summer and we missed him so much that 6 weeks later we got another. They are so quirky and have great personalities. I love them to pieces.

heidi14dan We've had 2 doxies, one that died last summer that was fully trained to go outdoors and our current dachshund that is an 11 month old puppy. It took almost 9 months to train our first dachshund, and our current pup still isn't fully trained. He will pee...

heidi14dan We used to have a red/brown male mini dachshund named Pogo. After he died, we got a new puppy about 6-8 weeks later (we were lonely without him) and got another male doxy (black/tan) that we named Kosmo. They both are/were great dogs.
