hezoid I worked fo a charity a year back and they used cheques to issue all payments becuase of the way charities are set up they need two people to authorise payments so the best way to do it was by cheque, so yeah, i guess only businesses use cheques these days.

hezoid Yuor chequebook won't tell you how much you spent on your card, only your card statement will tell you that. If you want a chequebook i suggest you see your bank, though you'll probably never use it!

hezoid I've not even used that many! Funny thing is a couple of years ago i used to use them all the time, but then i found paying by paypal online is easier, or just paying by card in shops etc.

hezoid I still use cash, there are still many things that you need to pay for cash with, usually small things for a few pounds and such like. I still get paper statments, though to be honest i should ask the bank to cancel them becuase most get shoved in a drawer...
