hirenfaria i am computer hardware engineer, running this business from last 8 year, i never face the prob. that hard disk was damage because of formatting. hard disk only damage by VIRUS, power cut, power fluctuate or low power and if you not have earthing.

hirenfaria every one hate to format the hdd because it is time consuming. but i hate to install antivirus because it slow down the machine and also its popup again and again that you have virus and bla bla bla... so its better to format HDD once in 3-4 months.

hirenfaria ya, the main thing is that i have original copy of Vista, so i can download the inbuilt security from microsoft. and i regularly update my vista with microsoft. even few years ago i have XP and it is also original copy, so i never get prob. in XP also, but...

hirenfaria if i install anivirus in my machine then i will get problem. and if i install antivirus and make a scan, i am sure i will get millions of virus on my laptop. if you dont install any anitvirus and just update your windows from microsoft you will not get any...

hirenfaria oh sorry, i forgot to mention. i am not using any type of antivirus, and i am going to all site, weather it is trustable or untrustable. i am web developer so i has to visit all site for the review.
