iamafreelancer Prima facie no one may like to get compared with others, but sometimes comparisons do help in bettering ourselves. It creates a healthy competing spirit within me and motivates me to reach higher.

Why do we cry when we cut Onions ??

Is it coz it is the cursed food of King Slaiyuku or there is some proper scientific reason behind it ?

iamafreelancer I thought we cry because some substance that is emitted from the onion hits our nasal membranes, which in turn activates the tear glands. I have noticed I don't get tears when I have a scarf tied on my nose while cutting onions.
