iampaperbag Indeed, the 70s have churned some of the most memorable guitar solos of all time. And Hotel California is no exception, I think it's the best two-lead-guitar-players-sparring guitar solo of all time.

iampaperbag Yup, Yngwie Malmsteen has certainly crafted some of the greatest guitar solos in rock history. I personally love his earlier works.

iampaperbag I agree, it's just not the same without that hilarious kid and his tiger. I especially love that strip where Calvin and Hobbes pretend they're zombies (toothpaste foaming in their mouths). I miss them both.

iampaperbag True. There are a lot of songs that don't seem sad at all but the context is just heart-breaking. One example of this is Fiona Apple's Paper Bag.

iampaperbag That song reminds me of a similarly themed song called "Waiting For Murray" by Hastang. The story behind the song is just so heartbreaking. I couldn't even bear to share it here.

iampaperbag There are some songs with fast beats but are still melancholic. New Order's "Regret" is one.
