How do you clean your coffee maker?

When I bought this coffee maker the coffee was so fresh tasting and enjoyable. I have never cleaned it and it's been about a year. I'm not sure how to do this? Do I just rinse water through it? Or use bleach? Or something else?...

icequeen You can clean it with vinegar and water...just run it through the brewing process a couple of times to completly get the vinegar out...

icequeen guys are all nuts!!! it could be that he is just trying to be funny...so I would let it go for now..it doesn't sound like he is being abusive to you directly. Believe me you would know if you was verbally abusive...there is a big difference!!!

icequeen Yes...we do use public transit. I hate it. I think the waiting periods are far too long. You can usually walk to where you need to go before you ever see a bus. We pay all this money with fares continually increasing to have lousy service...

icequeen I prefer bottled. I just think it tastes better. There is a definite odor to tap water too....but they say it is fine? I feel better drinking bottled. However, I drink tap too. I do recycle.
