jenbatres I am friends with many of my ex's .. .If you feel comfortable talking with her, go for it. The polite thing to do would have been to at least smile, say "hi" and keep walking. .at minimum. I don't think I could just turn and walk away.

ajay22 I think maintaining a relationship is no harm even if its your ex, no matter if you were not able to go along but if its not that worse, a good friendship or a nice companionship can only soothes heart.

ashuknp I have not ex right now, but i can say that we should try to maintain contact with them. At one point of life you both were together so you should be in contact with each other, walking away is not the right choice

merkava Privacy should still be respected even when you're in a relationship. If you trust them and in their sensible judgement then there's no need to indulge yourself in their personal agendas. You'll just end up being a paranoid. I'd let them open up to me freely...

cabergren I don't hide things, but my husband has never asked to look at my messages or check my email. And I have never done the same to him. If he wanted to look at my email I have no problem with that. I do know his passwords and he knows mine. To me it is no big...
