Isn't it ironic that those who are at the top, in business or politics or anywhere, were taught by teachers yet teachers are ranked low in terms of salary and regard? Why is this? Is there an explanation for this?

jan103 I see your point. As a teacher, I see the profession as serving the other professions. We help people develop their building blocks so that they can become whatever they become in life. Perhaps this is the reason teachers are not paid so much? lol
