windows vs linux

im not so familiar with linux. can anyone help me what are advantages or disadvantages between the two?

jason478 I like linux a lot but a disadvantage when using it was that most of the programs that i use were only programmed for windows and i had to find an open source alternative like OpenOffice in place of Microsoft Office.

jason478 I used to use Nortan but my subscribtion ran out so i moved onto AVG Free Edition which is working quite well.

Cracking Shareware Software

What do you think about ethical aspect of using cracks and serials for Shareware Software? Do you use them for testing or permanently? Or do you always buy the software you like?

jason478 Hey nesher, i think its a bad idea to use cracks and serials on software because you are always risking the chance of getting a virus from cracks and software makers deserve their money that they worked very hard for, so using serials is not really fair for...
