Do you put your clothes in first and then add your laundry soaps on top of the clothes? Or do you start the washer add the soap and allow the water to begin to fill and then add your clothes? I do the latter. This is a big debate...

fluffnflowers Forgot to add that one of my reasons for adding the soap as it's filling is so that I can wash the liquid detergent out of the cup.

wilsongoddard I toss in the clothes and add the detergent; that is the way I like to do it. However, I don't think there is any real difference; it just comes down to a matter of preference.
