jiffin4java I would've responded exactly the way you did. She was probably embarrased. She probably wasn't trying to be rude. You were right not to mention it and embarrass her further and very kind to clean up the mess rather than leave it for an employee. Kudos to you!

jiffin4java I've got God, a damn good husband, two great kiddos, two silly puppy-dogs, and wonderful neighbors. Life is good. Sure we have money problems and so does just about everyone right now, but hubby's got a good career going now and things are looking up.

jiffin4java How about sitting on the steps a couple steps up with a treat and calling him? When he comes up, praise him and give him the treat. Keep doing this and eventually work your way up one more step until he's coming all the way up. Then you can do the same thing...

i think that voters should be informed about the system as to get a basic understanding as to what they are voting for. they also need to be able to make a decision based on their understanding and not just a family trend.

jiffin4java I like them too and have a few pair that I don't get to wear that often at all. I'm a work at home mom so I'm usually in my jeans and sweaters. But when I do have the opportunity to wear my heels I feel really good about myself.
