free antivivirus: avast or avir?

since AVG is already charging for their services , the only free antivirus service available are avast and avir. i am using avir. i need to get some feedbacks concerning these free antivirus.

jjones444 I always try to have an antivirus protection program on my computer. Most of the time I actually have a couple different ones that scan at different times. I would rather be safe than sorry, and computer viruses aren't a joke. Whoever sits at home and creates...
