john813 I went to a Dragonforce concert recently...they are by far the best metal band I've ever heard. Herman Li is an insane guitarist, and the solos just blew me away.

Does banning soda and candy really help the obesity problem?

Even though our school recently banned soda and candy this year, I really don't think it's helped the obesity problem at all. At lunch, students still have the option of buying foods such as frito boats, pizzas, and other junk...

john813 Exactly. I really think that the school's banning of the candy and soda just makes kids want to buy them even more when they're out of school.

What is the sound you hate most? I hate the buzzer to a soccer game when you lose.

john813 There's this new ringtone going around at my school where apparently the frequency is so high most people above 30yrs can't hear it. For teenagers, though, it's just this high-pitched squeak. It's so annoying and it hurts your ears after a while.

john813 I think Dan Brown is just really observant and has the ability to make great stories out of researching these topics. For example, the first time I read it, I was intrigued by what he said about the Last Supper by Da Vinci. I immediately looked up the picture...

john813 I really like the cover they did for Iron Maiden's Die With Your Boots On. It's one of the few covers that are almost, if not, better than the original song. Sonata Arctica is a wonderful band...they pack so much emotion into their songs it's crazy.
