Gambling...a diversion for most Filipinos: good or bad habit?

It breaks my heart as a father upon watching "Imbestigador" last Saturday about the fate of a child whom his mother abandoned in exchange of gambling... be it Tong-Its,etc. For me gambling is is bad habit and must be eradicated...
