when peter and sylar face off near the ending of the episode why didn't just peter freeze time and kill sylar even if sylar has already claire's ability peter can freeze him and blew into bits and pieces i think its impossible to...

i saw an episode of which warrick told catherine that he got married there was a look on catherine's face that look she was jealous?......i think its an early episode of season 6....had not watched further episodes though
