Jandie Hehe, airplane mode is usable if you're riding a plane.. because they said that phone signals can interrupt pilot's signal that's why it was named as airplane mode.

Toni You should buy an iPhone. Threw it several times using the airplane mode, it flew and came flying back when I needed it.
