kgirl06 It's National Guard, which is a bit like the reserves; I'm doing monthly drill, and got split-option, since I am in college. So I'm getting paid for drill, but haven't started training yet.

kgirl06 I enjoy the movies, and actually would not have ever read the books if it weren't for the movies. I rather like the fact that the movies are so different. I wouldn't want to sit through a movie that's full of beautiful scenes that span the geography of a place...

poetry scam sites

i just found out that a site that my daughter submitted some of her poetry to is a scam. so what happens now?? Has anyone ever heard any thing about this and what it means to her and her writing? She submitted a couple of them.

kgirl06 As for the "scam" part of it, it really just depends on the fine print. If it was poetry.com, then she still owns the copyright, and she can do whatever she wants with the poem. I posted about ten poems on poetry.com before I realized that I could post a poem...
