The money's never really been an issue to me. Yes, I've had tight times, but cigarettes were always just a given. I quit smoking on Monday, and my main reason is vanity. I'm really worried about premature wrinkles and all the other unattractive little side...

Stephen King is my favorite writer. I would choose Desperation, The Stand, Bag of Bones. I used to rate the books i have read and those 3 have a stunning 20/20. Only another writer has achieved a 20/20 in my list, Jeffrey Archer...

Eyes of the Dragon is good, but some people don't really like the style. It is a bit different from "standard" Stephen King, and the narration sometimes tells you what's going to happen later. I didn't really think about it until my sister mentioned that it...

Do you celebrate Christmas as the birth of Jesus, or a giftfest. Do you do Santa? If you are a Christian how do you incorporate Santa into the real meaning of Christmas.

What about Santa as a symbol of generosity? A lot of people find Santa Claus valuable not as a guy who comes down the chimney and brings presents, but as sort of a goal for all of us during the holidays.

In the States, most shelters will foster out problem dogs and try to see if they can be rehabilitated/rehomed before they're put up for adoption. And, like you said, there are a lot of kind animals who don't get adopted because of fears of "problem" animals...
