I want to learn Italian because my family is from Northern Italy. Has anyone ever used Rosetta Stone or any other language assistance to learn any other language?

gitfiddleplayer Just from college and self study. You can usually find a group of people who want to learn another language through the library and they will always help each person in the group to succeed. You might give that a shot, if that doesn't work, start your own club...

inked4life I have never heard of the book or thae author, but have to say that I am intrigued by the title and the fact that you are somewhat appalled. I may just have to give it a looksee now, my curiosity has been wakened,,,thanks...LOL

fafinette79 Marine wife here! I'm very proud of my Marine hubby but still getting accustomed to the military lifestyle. I wish we were in a more populated city, because there is nothing to do in Camp Lejeune.

fafinette79 Anything is normal when it comes to children. My daughter didn't start walking until she was around one years old, but I started when I was around 6 or 7 months. It's really all up to the child. He's probably trying so early because he sees everyone else...
