What do you and your Mother like to do together?

My mom and I like crafts we do crafts together. My mom likes to paint pictures and portrats. I can't draw worth a darn. We like to shop together too. So, what do you and your Mother like to do together?

lovelight I did crafts with my mom (when she was alive), mostly sewing. Now I do crafts with my daughters and grand daughters. Some of us like to sing (Karaoke) together.

lovelight I forgot the pain all four time as soon as my baby was born. I do have to admit to having easy pregnancies and easy labor. I wanted to have 6, but 4 was what we could afford.

lovelight If your in a hurry take a sprig or two of parsley (or celery leaves) and rub them between your palms for 5 seconds. Then all over your hands. Then rinse. Presto! odor gone. I've used this for years. Works great.

lovelight Lots of good comments here. there is one other thing that comes to mind. How long has this been a problem? Maybe her current teacher has a teaching style that just isn't compatible with her learning style. Does she engage the students or just lecture to them?...

lovelight That's not mean at all, Mellcluck. You are teaching her self control and to be responsible for her own actions. Traits that will be very useful when she gets older and are far easier learning before she has to break habits that are long standing.

lovelight It's not too late to start today. Just watch what he eats the rest of the day. As for the water...if he's getting up because he feel 'restlest', drinking plenty of plain water will help sooth tired restless muscles.

lovelight The best way to combat the high cost of toys is to buy fewer toys. Kids are conditioned to want the latest rage toy and too often parents cave in and buy it. Most kids have far too many toys and commercial toy stifle creativity. the best toys are the ones...
