lrdl3535 That's very true especially when feeding kids vegetables. They will eat just about anything you give them if it has enough ketchup on it.

lrdl3535 Salads seem to be what everyone likes the most. I eat a lot of them as well and it helps with the heat a little. I also make fruit salads on occasion but not to often. Thanks for the comment and the advice.

lrdl3535 Thanks, not everyone has time to watch things. I don't watch TV myself at all anymore. I do watch a few things like Warehouse 13 when I get the chance. But I watch them on the internet now,it's easier and cheaper.

lrdl3535 Growing the plants on a net sounds like a good idea. I don't think this would blow away in the wind. That is if I can plant the right things to weight it down enough. Thanks for the advice.

lrdl3535 Thanks,I did move some of them to the shade. But the rest are to big to move this year. I'm also trying to come up with a way so I won't have to move them next year. I am considering some kind of shade or shelter to put over them just not sure yet what.

lrdl3535 Thanks,The mist sounds like a good idea and I might try it. But I would have to pass on the newspaper it wouldn't last very long. Our slight breeze would blow it away quickly.

lrdl3535 Thanks, This is one of the things that I have considered. But we also have high winds with gusts of 60 miles an hour. So it is one that I'm not to sure would work out.

lrdl3535 He's not as bad as some of the reality shows. He eats a lot of strange foods but it is mostly what the people in that culture eat. Some of them go a little to far by eating bugs and other uncooked critters. Thanks for the comment

lrdl3535 Thanks, I do drink it on occasion and do like the flavor better then some of the black teas. It has a lot milder taste and I normally drink it plain. But that is a good idea to try other flavors with it.

lrdl3535 Thanks, I will consider some of those for my garden. But it freezes early in the fall here and some of those would probably die. The leafy green vegetables and lettuce work good and those I try to plant every year. Thanks again for your input and help.

lrdl3535 If I was only looking for a few dollars what I am making would be fine. But a lot of the people like myself are needing a little income. That is what is hard to find for most online writers.
