Does her condition happen in real life to real people?

I just kept on thinking "what if this would happen to you?" Does this condition afflict people in real life? If we have, what's it called?

lscherer Yes it is due to (TBI) Traumatic Brain Injury. My son had a car accident a year ago and had a brain injury. Although he remembers his whole life before the accident and can retrieve the memories, things that happened after the accident take a while and...
