How to respond when people say 'I'm sorry' !!!!

When people say something like 'I'm sorry for your loss', or 'I'm sorry that you're having a bad day',..etc ...what are you supposed to say? I never knew I usually say..'It's okay,it'snot your fault'..or'it's ok'..something...

lucisaves I generally say thanks for your concern and move on... It feels weird, though. Maybe something else would be more appropriate? I suppose it depends on each situation.

lucisaves I agree with you that it is pointless to be concerned about something so simple as the color of folders or any trivial information such as that. The focus should be on the quality of education. It seems that anyone who can afford a higher education can coast...
