magicalangel I completely agree with you. It's highly popular among youngsters specially collegians these days. I just hate they express their disappointment feeling with that word! It seems that "Oh no!" or "Damn it!" is replaces by this "F" word!

magicalangel Dang is the same as saying Damn it! The word seems to have originated in the 70s and probably been brought back more recently (as of 2006)
