What is the best mystery you ever read?

I don't read very much in this genre, but I am becoming more interested after reading some mysteries this summer. What mysteries do you recommend? Who are good authors to read?

majorcare22 I do enjoy modern mysteries but I LOVE to go back and reread Agatha Christie. She is timeless.

I am contemplating divorcing my husband of 17 years, actually my mind is about made up. The only thing that has made me hesitant for so long is my church affiliation.

majorcare22 Yes, I'm another Wings fan too. That was another really great, funny show. I never would have imagined at that time that Tony Shaloub would become so popular.
