mama_bear there is actually something here called hockey night in canada it is awesome, hours and hours on one of the channels dedicated to hockey. they are even trying to come up with a new hockey anthem, so far it is down to 3 cheers, guess we'll see how it goes.

mama_bear i cannot relate to that mentality at all, especially seeing how small the world has become with the advent of the internet and ease of travel. i am so interested in other cultures and food and belief systems, i want to learn all about them and visit them all....

mama_bear true, and the underlying thing there as well is fear. it is natural for most people to fear what they do not know, there are very few people out there who want to learn and are open minded. the world needs more of those, and definitely more cultural...

mama_bear you're right, if you look at all the major wars that have taken place for the last few centuries, religion has been in the center of them, i am not a fan of organized religion at all. and the worst part is, there are people in every religion who find some way...
