WHY? I loved the show. It was different. I thought it was doing very well. I did hear a rumor that it might be moving to ABC or Fox. Why does NBC keep canceling programs that seem to be doing well.

Kenorv The longer a show lasts the more expensive it becomes to produce. A lot of that added production cost is the bump in the actors' salaries. If a network doesn't want to pay the increased costs then they drop the show. I don't know if that's the case with Earl...

mollyrose I am so upset about this. I love My Name is Earl and don't want it to be cancelled. I believe Medium was another victim of Leno's new show but thankfully was picked up by CBS and will air after Ghost Whisperer so I am crossing my fingers that Fox picks it up....

fatmansmommy i hear you! i never watched My Name is Earl, but i hate when shows that i have been watching and love get cancelled! i get so mad! i don't know if you have heard of or remember them, but my two favorites were i believe on abc- Big Shots and What About Brian....
