my dog under went this procedure 2 weeks ago and has been wearing a splint and heavily bandaged. how long is it recommended to keep her paw strapped up

masson2005 well the vet is the problem we have read everywhere that bandages and splint should not be removed for at least 8 weeks he romoved after 2 weeks

my dog under went this procedure 2 weeks ago and has been wearing a splint and heavily bandaged. how long is it recommended to keep her paw strapped up

masson2005 well thats what i thought but my vet has taken them off 2 weeks after surgery and the wound has opend and cannot be stitches any more they are trying to encoursge secondary skin growth nightmare
