Is turning on laptop for 24 hours is good/bad?

Well... the title explains all... i want to ask you guys some opinions... because i turn on my laptop for 24/7 and i really don't know whether it's good or really bad... and also share with us how many hours you're online...

mastermihir I dont think it is that bad becuase they say that it uses up more power when switching on than keeping it on. And me , im on for about 4 hours becuase of schoolwork! when i was about 11 I used to go on for about 12 hours a day!

mastermihir I am currently reading a book calledThe secret which is was told to read as it would suit me and basically it tells you the scret to life and am really finding it interesting
