mcthawk Have you ever considered how the signal is transmitted? For example is it sent out in bursts, how is it amplified, is it a pulse signal and at what speed does it travel?.I find this mind boggling and something I often comtemplate whilst fishing.

Do you use placemats on your table?

We have a tablecloth but when company comes I add placemats on top. Why? Because my mother did so - LOL! Do you use them everyday or not at all? Do they match a tablecloth or not?

mcthawk From memory it was introduced as an alternative to copper communication transfer wires, telephobe cableing etc. Many of the cable tv networks use it. Personally I reckon it makes great fantasy lamps and not bad for fishing with.
