megeek Acutaly Windows Vista is approximately 2.5GB in size, and that is way to big for them to allow download of the image. Besides after you got the image, you would need to burn it to a DVD and then boot to the DVD.

megeek Please note those prices are USD as determined on January 1, 2007. While Vista is in final release and manufacturers are loading it onto CDs for use, the final prices may vary depending on location, currency, and exchange rate.

megeek very true, however, as I have experienced, the most common hardware is supported in Windows Vista without the need of extra drivers. I have put it on 3 different machines and have yet to have a hardware compatibility issue.
