melon22 No way! You need to make sure your sister-in-law understands how you are going to handle issues with her daughter while she is staying in your home. It is not good to have one set of rules for your niece while having a stricter set of rules with your own...

melon22 When we lived in SC (for 10 years) this happened all the time. If there was even a hint of snow people rushed out to the store, school was cancelled, etc. Now we live in Western, NY so obviously with the amount of snow they get here this never happens.
