Angiepoo You might be able to find a good sewing machine at second hand store. Sometimes they have pretty new ones for very cheap. (Ask to try it out first to make sure it works well)

jas1978 yup! recycling is not a bad idea. The proverb of best out of waste can be used and it can be used to the highest level where we can save lot of money and use our creative mind to get moulded.

jennybeans I have been an avid recycler since I was a teen. There's something about it that makes me feel good every time I do it. I'm also into freecycling too. I'd rather give something away than throw it away if someone else can use it.

cher913 Yes, we encourage our children to recycle. But does our city? I have heard that once collected, both recyclable and non recyclable waste is all dumped together (maybe a rumour, but who knows?) Anyways, we feel that we are doing OUR part for the environment....

midnightuser I have heard similiar things, that they just mix up the too and put it in a landfill. That makes me soo sad. I recycle everything possible, and I do my best to educate my friends and family on what can be recycled and how. The environment isn't going to last...
