Should parents be allowed to spank

In the UK they are talking about banning spanking. It is a really big controversy. At the moment the law in the UK says parents can "smack" or spank their children as long as it does not leave a mark. What do you think?

How can I make money from the internet? I always hear of people who rake it in on advertising and stuff but how do you go about this? Please respond if you have experience 1st hand - I'd like to hear about real situations.
