I already know the answer, so why can't I make up my mind and stick to it?
You don't love him any more.
You're married.
You have children.
You have property.
You have memories.
He's a decent (very, very decent) guy.
You...

mikinikih So what was it that made you fall in love with him to begin with? I'm assuming that's no longer there. But the kids will still be both your kids, even if he's no longer your husband. One of you can keep the property (if wanted). The memories will be there as...

I'm on a roll here. lol
Do any couples here feel the need for separate sleeping arrangements due to snoring or whatever? How does that work for you?

mikinikih My legs are getting very toned from all the kicking they do when my husband snores. A good, strong kick can usually keep him quiet long enough for me to fall asleep--then it just becomes white noise. We save separate sleeping arrangements for the good fights:)...

I just can't believe this story. I mean, a 33 year old mom wanted to be a cheerleader so bad that she stole her daughter's identity? Here's the link to this unbelievable situation...

mikinikih That's just sad. I'm assuming she already had issues if her daughter is living with grandma (and from the math she was pregnant at 17, had a baby at 18). And to do that to her own child....she deserves whatever punishment she gets. Obviously it's not like she...

If you are a Lord of the Rings fan, did you become one through the books or through the movies? And if you are a fan of both, which do you like better? And why?
I discovered Lord of the Rings in 6th grade when our teacher...

mikinikih I think the books were much better than the movies (though the movies weren't bad, they weren't spectacular). I read the books in my early teens, and haven't gotten around to re-reading them (may never). Typically I like to watch the movie before reading the...

We are definitely not getting what they did down south. We are getting very high winds and it is causing alot of problems. We are not getting storms, but the wind is up to 80 mph. They are telling everyone to get inside and stay...

mikinikih Good idea to listen and stay home. We only have 40 mph winds here, and that was still enough to knock out a lot of power lines (not a single working traffic light in my city, but at least all the residences & businesses seem to have power) and many a tree. We...

Today we had the twins birthday party at a place where you paint ceramics. Each child picks out a piece, paints it and gets to keep it as their party favor. They had a good time.
What are other good ideas for children's...

mikinikih From the other responses, it looks like you need ideas for indoor parties. Around here we have some great indoor playplaces where you can rent out the whole thing, or just a room. My favorites include Amazone (http://www.myamazone.com)--they have a playland,...

I am not a professional florist, but I worked in a greenhouse and have a talent for floral design. Last year a friend was getting married and I agreed to do her flowers as my gift to them, they paid for the flowers but my time was...
