KrisNY My daughter does not have a lock on her bedroom door. So she can't lock it. She is 11- almost 12 and she is a really good kid. I would still probably wonder what she was doing if she started to lock her door. Your daughter was sitting in a box- too cute.

Nic My kids fear darkness alot so you will never ever expect them to sleep in their bedroom when it is not locked-they lock it all the time, bith day and night-they imagine a killer could enter during the day, so they keep it locked!

reshadar Though my son is only 12, there is a rule in our house that you are not allowed to ever lock any door but the front one. I will always knock and wait for an answer before I come in (unless, of course, there is an emergency), but the door must stay unlocked....
