why is it so much harder to loose weight when you are older

I used to loose weight really easily when i was younger but now that i am older i find it that much harder what do you think?

mom2myrugrat i am in the same boat i am 32 and struggling with weight loss for years i dont want to go and have surgery i want to do this on my own its gonna take time compared to younger people who can lose the weight alot quicker
