mrsfrisby I have only moved with my cat once and like the others have mentioned, I kept him in the house for a week or two and he did okay and stayed home. Good luck! =)

mrsfrisby My brother keeps his cats inside too and they're now 14 years old and have had no interest in going out for pretty much their entire life. They do like to sit by the window and watch the birds and leaves on a windy day.

mrsfrisby Thank you for the welcome. Yes, my son loses all those things as well but for some reason, does better with pencils these days. He used to lose those all the time so he's either not losing so many or borrowing from friends.

mrsfrisby Yes, I think it definitely helps keep the food budget lower and its healthy. My kids definitely are more open to eating or at least tasting vegetables when we grow them in our own garden.
