How does your parenting differ from the way that your parents raised you? Or do you pretty much have the same style as they did?

mumof2cuties I try really hard to be different from my mum. she used to yell at us alot and was always stressed out, so with my boys i try to take a deep breath and not get caught up in the heat of the moment and start yelling and screaming. doesnt always work though! but...

I just returned from Wal Mart and I was again amazed at the number of people who bring their babies and toddlers into the store wearing nothing but a diaper or underpants. It really bothers me when I see a child with no clothes on...

mumof2cuties I agree, and what i hate even more is a toddler walking around without shoes through the shopping centre. Definately a hygiene issue, and safety also. They could step on anything. I always dress my boys, even if it is just a quick trip to the corner store
