I play loud music but i can't stand to go to concerts

i went to the jack daniels concert in support of playphonics (a friend's band) and i only spent enough time to watch their gig i spent most of the time outside cause i couldn't stand the loudmusic am i too old?

difference between a tube and a solid state amplifier

Well this is a very classical question but the problem is a haven't got a chance to own a real tube amp. I just want to ask if it is really better or does it really givethe " warm tone" that the solid state amps completely lack?...

myfourteen14 Well thanks for the tip man, My urge to buy one is not as high compared yesterday... I'll just consider looking for solid state amps with tube amp like sounds. ^_^

What is Capo?

I used to look for guitar chord. Some of the chords tell me that I have to use capo. I don't know what it means. Can anybody help me?

myfourteen14 Actually you can use a capo in the middle of a bar gig while trying to find easier chords when you need to transpose from one pitch to another (except going lower than the standard tune)without changing the actual chords you use, it pretty works well for me

myfourteen14 Yeah I agree, it really depends to your personal preference. I for one go for D' addario strings because it is soft but has the brilliance I want for the tone. It gives me more time and more songs to play before my fingers really hurt that bad...
