What isyour opinion is the best family Dog to own. I have a 4 year old who wants a puppy and although my all time fav dogs are Sheppards, I do believe our best bet would be a Lab or a Golden Retriever. What do you think?

nichjake One of my labs has hip dysplasia and arthiritis but thats mostly because we let her run too hard when she was just a puppy, its so hard to hold them back when they want to run. The one in the pic I posted get sick every now and then but thats because he eats...

nichjake Thanks for your reply! I've found that taking latin has helped me be able to get the gist of whats being said in several different languages, most of them have roots in latin. :)

nichjake Italian is nice, I'll have to give ya that. Even though I'm one of them I think its a shame that people try to loose their accents, its almost part of your identity. Although for professional reasons its sometimes best. Thanks for your response :)

nichjake I have a hard time understanding Indian accents. I had a chemisty lab professor from India and I had the hardest time understanding him. His english was perfect but his accent was so thick. Perhaps its just because I'm not used to it. Thanks for your response...
