I am pregnant and am due pretty soon. I am trying to get organized by cooking meals and freezing them. However I am not sure what will freeze and defrost well. If you have any recipes or ideas it would be greatly appreciated....

nmw2005 Wow, so many great ideas. Freezing bread is a great idea. I used to do it, but not no reason just stopped. All we would need is lunch meat or PB&J which is a staple here.

nmw2005 We are big on chicken and pasta. I figure my husband can make a simple pasta with sauce. I'll make and freeze other meals Our freezer isn't huge, but can store at least a weeks worth of meals.

I am almost 7 1/2 months pregnant and cannot fall asleep due to the fact I cannot find a comfortable position. I wind up being exhaused the next day. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

nmw2005 I was told that as well. Get sleep when the baby sleeps. That is advise I am going to use. Laundry/cleaning can always get done on the weekend when my usband if off from work. Of course we are moving when the baby is about 2 months old, so that should be...

nmw2005 I was told that either side was okay, but I normally end up on my left. I keep thinking it will all be worth it when I get to hold her for the first time. Only a few more months to go.

nmw2005 I do alternate from side to side, though whenever I change positions I wake up. I have a pillow that I use, I prop my knee on it. That seems to work for a bit.

nmw2005 Waking up for me is okay, I sem to wake up the same as before I got pregnant. Hope it gets better for you.

nmw2005 Before I got pregnant I would sleep on my stomach and I have had to change that. At least I only have a few more months to go, of course once she is here I'll be awake for a totally different reason :)

nmw2005 I do finally fall asleep out of pure exhaustion. Last night I didn't get to sleep until 2 and had to be up early. If I find out any new ideas I'll send them you way.

nmw2005 Fortunately , up until now I have been able to sleep okay....other than having weird dreams. I have tried usinf another pillow, sometimes it works. Good luck to you too. Hope everything goes smooth for you as well.

nmw2005 Glad you like the frog. My husband opened his backpack one morning and the frog leaped out. He brought it inside and it just sat on the counter and posed for a few pictures. He then let took it out and let him go. Good luck with your meal planning!!
