Lily Allen-White trash?

I love Lily Allen..and I'm in the US. However, when I was looking her up on the internet I saw a bunch of UK people calling her white trash!! Why? I mean what has she done to be called that? I found it really disconcerning...

nobanoba no it's not jealousy she acts trashy - always seeking gutter-press publicity - mouthing off about different celebrities to provoke controversy, getting completely smashed and falling all over the place, acting a lot more famous than she is she was also...
