If something always had to have existed, why God, instead of the universe itself? Why bring God into it? If something arose out of nothing, why not the universe?

paulerland123 This wasn't really my question. I asked, Why bring God into it at all? If we're talking about a mystery that can't be solved, why not leave it at the universe? Your descriptions of God are pure speculation.
