Some movies are serious, designed to make the audience think. Other movies designed primarily to amuse and entertain. Which type of movie do you prefer?why?

phnx20 I couldn't agree more with your statement here. This is something I feel that the movie makers are getting away from. Unfortunately, I believe the height of this kind of movie making was the old classicals that are becoming so much harder to find.
