Do plants have spirits?

I was just thinking about plants. I don't necessarily believe plants have spirits, but they seem like an enigma to me. They grow, they die, they exist. If they don't have spirits, why are they not like every other living...

MrNiceGuy ok, regardless of what you call it, spirit or not, what is the difference between an inanimate object and one that lives? Do plants have that quality or not? If so, why are they different than other "living" animate objects?

MrNiceGuy Yeah, Google Preview is really nice. Remember the ask.com commercials where they brag about the little preview feature? This is just like that for Google.
